Stuck in Clutter? Try This 3-Step Decluttering Rescue Plan!

Feeling stuck in your decluttering journey? Don’t worry—your clutter isn’t permanent.

Here’s your 3-step rescue plan:

1️⃣ Start with the easy stuff: TRASH. If it’s broken, expired, or making you say “What IS this?”—out it goes. 🗑️

2️⃣ Flip your mindset. What you think and say becomes what you are. So instead of saying “ It’s too hard. I can’t let go of anything. I don’t have time.”
Try a NEW MANTRA! Something like: “I’m more important than all the random stuff in my home.” or “I deserve a clean and clutter-free home”

3️⃣ Donate. Bless someone else with the items you no longer love or use and set yourself free. ✨

Decluttering doesn’t have to feel impossible. Start small, stay positive. You can do this! 💪

  1. I feel like everytime I declutter someone I live with wants to go through the box or bags. It drives me crazy. It’s like I have to explain why I am getting rid of something. They always want to “re-home” my stuff and it drives me nuts!

  2. I’m in day one of this seasons declutter. I filled almost an entire trash bag with expired medicine, food, make up, and random trash like wrappers and old mail from my desk. I’m being ruthless this time around and I was surprised how much progress I made just going through a few areas for trash. It was easy to make that progress since I didn’t have to think about it and now I am motivated to continue onto new areas. 6 months out from a move, getting started now!

  3. If you’re reading this and you literally don’t have the capacity to make the decision to donate and then bring items to donation you have permission to throw it away. The landfill problem is not single-handedly your fault and you keeping things in your house is worse than contributing .001% of the trash on earth. Throw it out and move on.
